The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman accused of violating a court order, destroying a door with an axe and throwing a mole trap through a window.

Amy E. Eitel, 35, a transient, has been referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office by the Sheriff’s Office on charges of residential burglary, domestic violence; malicious mischief, domestic violence; and violation of a court order, domestic violence. She was arrested at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday and booked into the Lewis County Jail.

Her first court appearance is scheduled for 4 p.m. today.

On Monday, deputies responded to a report of a violation of the order in the 400 block of Leudinghaus Road off of state Route 6 west of Chehalis.

The alleged victim, a 62-year-old man, reported that Eitel was at his residence the previous night when she broke his bathroom door. The two were in a dating relationship, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Eitel allegedly returned the next morning and, when the man didn’t let her in the house, she used a remote in his truck to open the garage door.

She then allegedly took an ax from the garage and “mutilated” another door, gaining access to the house, according the Chief Deputy Stacy Brown.

The man escorted Eitel out of the house. She then allegedly threw a mole trap through a laundry room window, shattering the glass. Eitel reportedly fled on foot.
