Jan. 22, 2012

Our beloved Chris Beglinger passed away at his home in Coeur d’ alene, Idaho, Sunday, Jan.  22, 2012. He was the son of Swiss immigrants, raised on a dairy farm in Kent, Wash., and spent his life in the dairy business. Chris was known for picking only the best animals at the cattle auctions. He moved from the farm in Kent to a farm in Snohomish with his wife Mildred and then retired in Centralia. The door was always open to their home and a meal ready. They had many friends in the dairy community and in the Swiss community. Their friends and their family were a very special part of their lives.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred of nearly 50 years, sisters, Marie and Margaret, and brothers, Nick and Jack.  He is survived by his sister, Elsie, two step- sons, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who all adored him.

He will be remembered for his strength, his big soft heart, his hugs, his smile and his never-ending sense of humor.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Graveside service (social time to follow), Thursday, Feb. 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, State Hwy 6. Frances, Wash., (just beyond Pe Ell).
