ONALASKA — The Loggers made quick work of the Indians on Wednesday, as Onalaska earned a 20-5 win in three innings in a Central 2B League softball game.

Adalee Sabin was 3 for 4 with three RBIs and runs and Amy Henderson was 2 for 3 with two triples and 4 RBIs for the Loggers. Alicia Vint was 3 for 4 with three RBIs, and Olivia Mitten was 2 for 3 with four RBIs.

Toledo led 4-3 after the first inning, but Onalaska got the bats going in the second, scoring 11 runs to take a commanding lead.

Onalaska’s Dusty Glenn pitched all three innings to earn the win.

The second game of the doubleheader was rained out in the first inning, and Onalaska coach Ken Ulery hoped the game can be completed Thursday or Friday.

“Toledo had a good plan at the beginning, making her (Glenn) throw strikes. She came back, she battled and found her groove,” Ulery said. “We’ve got a big month ahead of us. We’ve just got to keep grinding and making sure we’re doing the little things right.”

Onalaska (7-2, 7-2 league) hosts Morton-White Pass on Saturday in a C2BL doubleheader. Toledo (2-7, 2-7 league) hosts Kalama on Saturday in a league matchup.
