Track: Brooks-Johnson Wins Four, Bottoms Three at Ony Meet

ONALASKA — Stephen Bottoms won three events for the host Logger boys here Tuesday in a Central 2B League track meet, while Pe Ell's Alissa Brooks-Johnson won four on the girls side.

    Bottoms won the 400-meters in 53.71 seconds, won the 1600 in 4:24.29 and took the 3200 in 9:54.38.

    Brooks-Johnson won the 100 hurdles (15.34), the 300 hurdles (44.63), the long jump (15 feet, 11.5 inches) and the triple jump (35-0).

    Adna won the girls event, led by first-place finishes from sophomore Regyn Gaffney in the 10 (12.42), the 200 (25.90) and the 400 (1:01.18). Teammate Cheyenne Kindell won the discus (94-11) and the shot put (31-10.5).

    Onalaska's Bernie Hayden won the 800 (2:40.35), the 1600 (5:54.45) and the 1600 (13:03.27).



    Pe Ell freshman Josh Schultz was a double-winner on the boys side, taking the triple jump (36-7.5) and the long jump (17-07). Napavine's Tristan Erven swept the boys hurdles, winning the 110 in 18.57 and the 300 in 44.72.

MWP Boys Win 11 Events in Home Meet

    RANDLE — The Timberwolf boys piled up 11 wins and cruised to a team victory here in a Central 2B League track meet Tuesday afternoon against Mossyrock, Toutle Lake and Winlock.

    Jeff Fenbert won the 100 and the 200, Chase Malamphy won the 1600 and Mark John took the 3200. Ben Powell won the 110 hurdles, while Tyler Barnett won the 300 hurdles for the hosts. Barnett, Powell, Fenbert and Daniel Bates combined to win both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, Barnett won the triple jump, John won the pole vault and Zach Elswick won the long jump.

    Mossyrock's Riley Spahn won both the shot put and the discus.

    Mossyrock's girls finished first, highlighted by a pair of wins from Alicia Herrera in the 800 and the 1600. Amber St. Pierre won the 100 and ran with the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams, along with Viking teammates Astrid Salgado, Lucie Wamsley and Clementine Schultz. Clementine Schultz won both hurdle races, Salgado won the javelin and Sierra Heider won the discus.
