Lewis County Seniors to operate under new name — Timber River Connections

Posted

The Lewis County Seniors Board has announced that the nonprofit organization is rebranding under a new name, Timber River Connections.

Timber River Connections, older adult centers and resources, will operate in the same manner as Lewis County Seniors, “simply under a newer, fresher name that is more encompassing of the services provided to our local aging community,” according to a news release.

Timber River Connections is a nonprofit corporation focused on assisting our aging community with nutritional, social, educational and enrichment programs.

“Along with the help of our tireless and dedicated staff, we serve meals, create learning and enrichment opportunities, help our older adults with issues directly impacting their health and wellness and reach out to the community with fundraisers and other community events,” the nonprofit stated in the release.

Timber River Connections will continue to work with the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging.
