The Napavine soccer team pulled away for a resounding win on Monday, as four second-half goals propelled the Tigers to a 5-0 win over Raymond-South Bend.

Hayden Kaut got Napavine on the board in the first half, but it was just 1-0 at the break.

An own goal from the Ravens made it 2-0 in the 60th minute, and it was the first of four Napavine goals in a 15 minute span.

Hannah Fay made it 3-0 just three minutes later, and in the 70th minute, Kaut converted from the spot for her second goal of the game. Kaut helped Fay score her second just four minutes later, when Fay connected off a pass from Kaut to make it 5-0.

“It was a good game,” Napavine coach John Bates said. “Kind of coming together slowly. With a couple more preseason games, by league we should compete.”

Napavine (2-2) will return home on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to host Highland.
