The Adna softball team struggled offensively against 3A Timberline on Monday, and the Pirates fell to the Blazers 12-0.

The Pirates (1-1) went down 5-0 in the first inning and never recovered, as Timberline pushed its lead to 7-0 after two and 12-0 after four.

Avery LaFontaine pitched well in relief, allowing just one hit and zero runs in an inning and a third of work.

Adna managed just two hits, one from Kendall Humphrey and another from Brytin Dollarhyde.

The Pirates are off until Saturday, when they’ll take on 2A Aberdeen and 3A Bonney Lake in the Auburn Riverside Fastpitch Invitational.
