Adna senior Zach Berg captured four events on the boys side, and senior Carli Latimer and junior Faith Wellander each won two as the Pirate boys and girls romped to victory Saturday at a three-team meet in Centralia.
Berg won the boys 100 (11.96), the 200 (24.2), the 400 in a personal-record of (53.95) and ran the anchor in the winning 4x400 relay (which included Lane Johnson, Jacob Stajduhar and Jackson Humphrey) that finished in a time of 4:01.65.
Senior Willis Ames continued his tear in the hurdles, winning both the 110s (16.03) and the 300s (45.38).
Senior Lane Baker won the shot put by 12 feet with a personal record of 45 feet. Stajduhar won the triple jump with a leap of 35-6 and Jordan Stout won the 1600 in 5:31.46.
Adna boys compiled 67 points, while Centralia was second with 38 and Mossyrock third with 29.
Centralia winners include Devin Harrison in the 3200 (11:04.04); William Stinkeoway in the discus (88-07); and Colten Aitken in the javelin (135-11).
Mossyrock winners include Miguel Gomez in the 800 (2:29.97); the 4x100 relay of Kayson Purdy, Aiden Imes, Tevita Stajduhar and Ben Cruz won in 48.07; and Christian Paz Tapia in the long jump (15-03).
On the girls side, Adna won with 47 points, followed by Mossyrock with 42 and Centralia with 30.
For Adna, Latimer won both the 100-meter dash (13.73) and the 200 (28.08). Wellander dominated the hurdles once again, winning the 100s in 17.89 and the 300s in 52.24.
Ryann Wilson rounded out Adna’s victories with a win in the shot put (34-04), and Rebekah Boyd won the discus with a toss of 79-01.
Centralia’s winners were Lucy Nowicki in the 400 (1:07.29), and Satine Sas in the javelin (96-03).
Mossyrock’s winner were Olivia Brownell in the 800 (2:54.24) and the 1600 (6:28.23); the 4x100 and 4x200 relays, which both included Teaguen Weise, Jillian Cournyer, Caelyn Marshall and Paige Houghtelling. Houghtelling also won the long jump with a leap of 14 feet.
