Bamboo Theft

• Bamboo was reported stolen from the 700 block of South Pearl Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 16.

 

Identity Theft

• Anthony P. Burleson, 25, of Centralia, was arrested in the 100 block of West Maple Street just after 8:45 p.m. on June 17 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged identity theft.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A juvenile is being referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for a hit-and-run reported just after 9:45 p.m. on June 16.

 

Broken Window

• A window in the 3000 block of Russell Road was reported damaged at approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 18.

 



CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft and Burglary

• Just before 9:45 a.m. on June 17, a caller reported that someone had cut a fence in the 1000 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue and taken a catalytic converter.

• A vehicle prowl reported in the 2100 block of Southwest Woodland Circle just after 1:15 p.m. on June 17 is under investigation.

• A theft reported in the 2100 block of North National Avenue just after 5:25 p.m. on June 17 is under investigation.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run reported in the 300 block of West Main Street at approximately 11:45 a.m. on June 17 is under investigation.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 137 inmates, including 99 in the general population and 38 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 85 were reported male and 14 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 34 were reported male and four were reported female.
