CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Tower Avenue and East Cherry Street was reported just after 8:30 a.m. on May 3.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 100 block of Centralia College Boulevard was reported at approximately 1:45 p.m. on May 3.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Belmont and Harrison avenues was reported at approximately 3:25 p.m. on May 4.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A Centralia man was arrested and released for a hit-and-run reported in the 1400 block of Jensen Avenue just after 8:30 a.m. on May 4.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• A vehicle prowl in the 1000 block of Caveness Drive was reported just after 8:50 a.m. on May 3.

• A vehicle prowl in the 3000 block of Borst Avenue was reported just after 8:40 a.m. on May 4.

• A vehicle prowl in the 400 block of North Rock Street was reported just before 3 p.m. on May 4.

 

Burglary and Theft

• A Centralia man was arrested and released with a criminal citation in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue just before 4:25 p.m. on May 3 for alleged third-degree theft.

• A Centralia woman was arrested and released with a criminal citation in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 6:40 p.m. on May 3 for alleged third-degree theft. During the same incident, Crist A. Bigler, 61, of Rochester, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding U.S. Marshal warrant.

• A burglary with property damage was reported in the 1200 block of Lum Road just after 1:20 p.m. on May 4.

• Two catalytic converters were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of North Scheuber Road just before 12:15 p.m. on May 4.

• A vehicle dealer plate was reported stolen from the 200 block of South Pearl Street just before 3 p.m. on May 4.

• Theft from a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road was reported just after 4:45 p.m. on May 4.

• A package was reported stolen from a residence in the 800 block of F Street just before 5:25 p.m. on May 4.

• A cell phone was reported stolen from the 900 block of B Street at 11:45 p.m. on May 4.

 

Protection Order Violation

• Julian B. McIntosh, 27, of White City, Oregon, was arrested in the 600 block of Yew Street just after 10:50 p.m. on May 4 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly violating a protection order. In the same incident, Justin B. Bedortha, 31, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly violating a protection order.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft



• A second-degree theft reported in the 700 block of Southwest Moonlight Lane just after 12:10 p.m. on May 3 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 3:45 p.m. on May 3 is under investigation.

 

Robbery

• A second-degree robbery reported in the 100 block of Southwest 11th Street just after 8 a.m. on May 4 is under investigation.

 

Protection Order Violation

• A subject was cited for a possible protection order violation in the 700 block of North National Avenue at 10:55 a.m. on May 3.

 

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Market Boulevard and West Main Street was reported just after 1:40 p.m. on May 3.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 6 and Southwest Riverside Drive was reported at 2:40 p.m. on May 3.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• A case of disorderly conduct reported in the 300 block of West Main Street at 3:20 p.m. on May 4 is under investigation.

 

Death Investigation

• A death reported in the 200 block of Southwest 15th Street just after 5:40 p.m. on May 4 is under investigation.

 

Juvenile Problem

• A “juvenile problem” reported in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street just before 8 p.m. on May 4 is under investigation.

 

Found Child

• A lost 12-year-old was found at the intersection of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest State Avenue at 8:25 p.m. on May 4.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 139 inmates, including 103 in the general population and 36 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 74 were reported male and 29 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
