Sirens: Death Threats; Thefts; Assault; Vehicle Stolen

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• A wagon was reported stolen from the 1000 block of K Street just before 11:30 a.m. on March 29.

• Miscellaneous toys were reported stolen from the 1600 block of Eshom Road at 11:35 p.m. on March 29.

• A computer was reported stolen from the 1000 block of B Street just after 4:10 p.m. on March 29.

 

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Pearl and Magnolia streets was reported just after 12:15 p.m. on March 29.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 4000 block of Galvin Road was reported just after 6:30 a.m. on March 30.

 

Assault

• Kevin L. Roberts, 40, of Chehalis, was arrested in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road just before 6 p.m. on March 29 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree assault, domestic violence.

 

 



CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Death Threats 

• Just after 10:50 a.m. on March 29, a caller in the 1100 block of Northwest State Avenue reported that they’d received two calls from an unknown male who reportedly said “he was going to shoot them dead, shoot them with a tranquilizer and burn their house down.” The caller was advised to call back if additional calls were received.

 

Family Disturbance

• A family disturbance or dispute reported in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at 3:15 pm. on March 29 is under investigation.

 

Vehicle Theft

• Just after 12:45 p.m. on March 30, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 2100 block of North National Avenue sometime in the past week.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 139 inmates, including 126 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 24 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
