CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Crashes

• A non-injury, three-vehicle collision in the 200 block of South Pearl Street was reported at approximately 10:50 a.m. on April 30.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 200 block of South Pearl Street was reported just before 12:40 p.m. on May 1.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 200 block of South Pearl Street was reported at approximately 12:50 p.m. on May 1.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run collision in the 1300 block of Windsor Avenue that resulted in damage to a vehicle was reported at approximately 7:45 p.m. on May 2.

 

Theft

• A laptop was reported stolen from the 600 block of F Street just before 1:55 p.m. on April 30.

• Fraudulent activity on a bank account was reported in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue just before 10:45 p.m. on April 30.

• A diaper bag was reported stolen from the 400 block of North Rock Street at approximately 11 a.m. on May 1.

• Clothing was reported stolen from the 1200 block of Lum Road just after 4:15 p.m. on May 1.

• A cell phone was reported stolen from the 1200 block of West Main Street at 4:50 p.m. on May 2.

 

DUI

• Isaias L. Almontes, 21, of Centralia, was arrested in the 900 block of North Tower Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. on April 30 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 300 block of North Gold Street just before 1:30 p.m. on May 1 and was released with a criminal citation for disorderly conduct after he allegedly threw himself into the path of a moving vehicle.

 

Assault

• A juvenile male was arrested in the 1200 block of North Pearl Street at approximately 8:25 p.m. on May 1 and was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for alleged first-degree assault.

• A physical assault with minor injuries was reported just before 7:15 p.m. on May 2. No arrests were made.

 

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Stolen Property

• Nathaniel Jones, 32, of Tacoma, was arrested at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and West High Street just before 6 a.m. on May 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property. He was also booked on an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant.

 

Anti-Harassment Order Violation

• A Centralia woman was issued a citation for violating an anti-harassment order in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue just before 1:10 a.m. on May 3.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• An exhaust was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place just after 8:40 a.m. on April 30.



• A male subject was cited for allegedly stealing cans of coffee from a business in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 9 a.m. on April 30.

• A second-degree theft reported in the 2100 block of Southwest Woodland Circle just before 11:55 a.m. on April 30 is under investigation.

• A male subject was cited for alleged third-degree theft in the 1700 block of North National Avenue at 5 p.m. on April 30.

• A female subject was cited for alleged third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 6:10 p.m. on April 30.

 

Vehicle Theft

• A vehicle was reported stolen from the 900 block of Southeast Washington Avenue just before 9 p.m. on May 1.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 11:05 a.m. on May 2.

 

Harassment

• A case of harassment reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 2:40 p.m. on April 30 is under investigation.

• Just after 9:15 a.m. on May 2, a caller in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue reported that a woman had threatened to kill them and was harassing another person. No arrests were made.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• Just before 7:40 p.m. on April 30, a caller in the 1700 block of North National Avenue asked that a woman going through a trailer parked behind a business be trespassed.

• Just before 5:45 p.m. on May 2, a caller reported that a man behind a building in the 1500 block of North National Avenue was “dancing around and pulling his pants down.”

 

Assault

• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 3 p.m. on May 1 is under investigation.

• A third-degree assault was reported in the 500 block of Southeast Adams Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. on May 1. No arrests were made.

 

Protection Order Violation

• A possible violation of a protection order that occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 6 p.m. on May 1 is under investigation.

 

DUI

• Michael A. Long, 40, Chehalis, was arrested in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before midnight on May 1 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence.

 

Possible Child Abuse

• A case of potential child abuse was reported in the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue at approximately 7:40 p.m. on May 2.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 142 inmates, including 129 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 97 were reported male and 32 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
