The Napavine girls soccer team got in the win column on Saturday, as the Tigers topped Okanogan 3-0 at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.

Grace Pancake got the Tigers on the board in the first half, and Hannah Fay and Hayden Kaut added to the lead in the second.

“It was a pretty good game,” Napavine coach John Bates said. “I’m glad the girls won.”

It was the Tigers’ (1-2) first win of the season, as they entered Saturday 0-2 after losses to Montesano and R.A. Long.

“Two tough games,” Bates said. “So the girls are pretty pumped right now. We can’t wait for the next game.”

The Tigers are on the road again on Monday, when they’ll head to South Bend to take on RSB.
