The Centerville Cafe reopened Jan. 5 with new owners Michelle and Lisa Little in downtown Centralia. The cafe is located at 111 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia. Both Michelle and Lisa Little grew up in the area and have been going to The Centerville Cafe for over 20 years. Before being approached by the previous owners, Marion Manzer and Morris Gall, about purchasing the restaurant, Michelle Little managed a restaurant in Olympia, and Lisa Little worked as a nurse. Manzer and Gall wanted the restaurant to stay family owned to maintain the spirit of The Centerville Cafe in Centralia. According to the chamber, the cafe got its name in 2013 when Manzer and Gall bought what had been called the “Jersey Diner” and renamed it after the original name of Centralia, which was Centerville. The Centerville Cafe — under various names — is more than 120 years old. “We focus on having really good food, cooked with love. We want it to feel like home when you come in. Our staff really makes this place amazing,” Michelle Little said.

The business is located at 2530 NE Kresky Ave., Suite C, in Chehalis. Mishler and Stajduhar opened Adorne Medical Aesthetics last year on May 18. As part of its recent expansion, Adorne Medical Aesthetics is adding a new aesthetician to its staff and a second location at the Chehalis Thorbeckes providing massage therapy. The announcement for the ribbon-cutting stated Mishler and Stajduhar’s “holistic and personalized approach goes beyond injectables and laser treatments. Chehalis City Mayor Tony Ketchum, City Councilor Kate McDougall and City Manager Jill Anderson were in attendance along with other officials and Chamber ambassadors to help celebrate the grand opening of Glint Car Wash in Chehalis on Tuesday morning. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was provided by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce. Glint Car Wash is located at 625 NW Arkansas Way in Chehalis and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Those are winter hours. Hours could change depending on the season. According to a news release, for the next six months Glint will offer a special on its unlimited premier wash. Normally, the wash costs $39 plus tax, but for the next six months, it will only cost $19.50 plus tax. They also offer a top-end single wash special that is normally $19 for only $10 through the end of February, stated the release.
