1B Girls Basketball: Mason's 27 Leads Trojans Past Three Rivers

Posted

Annika Mason scored a game-high 27 points as three Trojans scored in double figures during a 66-24 win over Three Rivers Christian Tuesday in Pe Ell.

Carolann Baldwin added 18 points, Charlie Carper chipped in 13 and Claire Cleveland finished with six for the Trojans who played with just seven girls.

“The girls ran the floor well,” Pe Ell first-year coach Danny Cox said. “A lot of fastbreaks and we outpowered them. We did a good job moving the ball around. Really good win for them.”

Pe Ell (1-0) travels to Naselle on Wednesday.
