Oakville’s Maria Casihan was named MVP and three total girls and three boys were selected to the 2021 all-1B Coastal League teams as announced by the league.
Casihan, a freshman, won the MVP award by two points over North River’s Eliza Gumaelius after leading the Acorns to a 6-4 overall record.
Also joining her were Cierra Berg on the second team and Alyssa Forsythe on the honorable mention team.
On the boys side, sophomore Ashton Boyd earned second team honors, while freshmen Eddie Klatush and Courtney Price were each selected to the honorable mention team. The Acorns ended with a 5-4 league record.
