Tumwater blasted in eight goals and the T-Birds cruised past visiting Centralia for an 8-0 win in 2A EvCo action Tuesday.
Centralia coach Henry Gallanger said the game was a learning experience for his younger players.
“This was the best Tumwater team we’ve ever played,” Gallanger said. “That’s what we want to be. It was a good opportunity for our platters to see things to strive for. It was a good starting point to have that conversation. Hopefully our players started to see that tonight.”
Centralia (0-7, 0-4 league) travels to Rochester in a battle of the county borders. Tumwater (7-1, 5-0 league) travels to Aberdeen on Tuesday.
