Centralia won in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches but couldn’t pull out a victory against Class 3A Capital on the road Tuesday in a non-league match.
Singles
“Olivia played a close competitive match at No. 1 singles and really hit the ball well today,” Centralia coach Deb Keahey said. “Nora Sas also had a challenging match at #2 singles and continues to grow stronger with each set.”
Doubles
“Maya and Liza played No. 1 doubles together for the first time this season,” Keahey said. “They adjusted well after the first set and played great team tennis to clinch the win.”
Junior Varsity
Centralia falls to 3-5-1 overall and is 3-4-1 in league play. The Tigers host Black Hills on Wednesday.
