2A Track and Field: Tigers Taken Down by T-Birds

Centralia boys and girls each had just one winner, Devin Harrison for the boys and Satine Sas for the girls, in losses to Tumwater at a dual road meet Thursday.

The boys fell 100-15 while the girls lost 119-10.

On the boys side, Harrison, a sophomore, captured the 3200-meter run in 10:59.69, beating the runner up by 28 seconds.

Also for the boys, junior Colten Aitken was second in the javelin with a throw of 130-09, while junior Kyler Butterfield was third with a toss of 127-03.



For the girls, Satine Sas won the discus by 23 feet with a toss of 68 feet even. She was also second in the shot put with a throw of 30-10 and second in the javelin (122-03)

Freshman Olvia Hedger was second in the discus (45-01), freshman Summer Holmes was third (43-03) and freshman Peyton Hile was fourth (39-03).

Holmes placed fourth in the 200-meter dash (29.84) and senior Rhegan Jenkins was fifth (32.61).
