Rainier senior Selena Niemi led all local runners with a second-place finish at a six-team home meet Tuesday.
Niemi ran a 21:52.68, finishing 34 seconds behind the winner, Northwest Christian freshman (Lacey) Madison Ingram (20:18.52).
Rainier senior Faith Boesch placed seventh in a time of 25:46.01, teammates Emma Mathson was eight(25:47.21) and Zoe Mathson was ninth (25:4.90).
On the boys side, Rainier’s Dylan Davis was the top local finisher, placing third in a time of 18:21.40. Teammate Ryan Doidge was fourth (18:37.45).
Mossyrock’s Christian Paz Tapia was ninth in 20:03.20, while teammate Hugo Wedam was 10th in a time of 20:35.39.
