Adna used an eight-run first inning to blow past Napavine for a 14-0 road win at noon Saturday, then did the same to Castle Rock at 4 p.m. at home, beating the Rockets, 10-0.

Ava Sims and Haley Rainey each blasted two-run homers as part of a five-run fifth-inning against Napavine to put the game out of reach.

Sims finished 4-for-4 with four RBIs, while Rainey went 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Karlee Von Moos pitched all five innings for Adna, striking out six while allowing two hits and walking one.

“They’re a heck of a ball club,” Napavine coach Josh Fay said. “They do a lot of good things.

Napavine’s two hits came from Makensee Taliaferro and Dani Tupuola. Fay praised Cailyn Milton for her performance on the mound.

“Really happy with our kids,” Fay said. “I liked our approach at the plate. We put the ball in play against (Von Moos).”

Napavine (4-5 overall, 3-5 league) travels to Kalama on Monday.

In game two for Adna, with Castle Rock traveling north to play, Rainey tossed a seven-strikeout no-hitter across five innings as the Pirates claimed a 10-0 mercy-rule victory.

Keaton Dowell tallied a game-high three hits and four RBIs, while Von Moos collected two hits and drove in a run. Kooper Mohney had one hit and one RBI and Kaylee Ashley drew two walks.

Adna remains undefeated at 12-0 and hosts Morton-White Pass on Monday.
