Rainier couldn’t get its offense churning against a tough Forks team during a 30-16 defeat Saturday in Tenino in what was a physical, bruising match.
Senior quarterback Mike Green ran seven times for 31 yards and two touchdowns, while throwing 5-for-11 with 94 yards through the air. Sean Mahaffey had a team-high 89 yards rushing on 17 carries to go with two catches for 45 yards, and Jacob Uch caught two passes for 48 yards.
