The 74th annual Santa Parade coursed through the streets of downtown Chehalis on Saturday morning to the joy of hundreds of onlookers.

This year’s theme for the parade, hosted by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, was “Rock'n Roll Christmas.” The grand marshal was the Southwest Washington Dance Ensemble ahead of its upcoming “Nutcracker” performances.

“Our 74th Santa Parade was an absolute blast,” the chamber stated on social media. “It was so much fun to see all of the smiling faces of our community as these fantastic floats rolled down Market Street, from rolling drum beats, to demonstrations of kung fu and tai chi, there was a lot to behold this year. We also want to give a huge shoutout to the diesel program team over at Centralia College. Every year, they have helped us set up for this event, and we are so thankful for their help. We will see you all next year for the 75th year of the Santa Parade!”
