A man accused of burglary was caught outside a home in Washington with a box spring, deputies said.
A suspicious neighbor reported the incident to authorities before 2:45 p.m. Friday, April 18, in Moses Lake, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
The neighbor watched the man go into “the home of an elderly man who is in a care facility,” deputies said.
When authorities got to the home, the man had dragged a box spring outside, deputies said.
The 54-year-old tried to flee from deputies, but they tased him and arrested him on suspicion of residential burglary.
Moses Lake is in central Washington.
