Adna boys top Rainier at Riverside

The Adna boys golf team took on Rainier at Riverside on Wednesday, and the Pirates came away with a 192-211 victory over the Mountaineers.

Trevin Salme led Adna with a 43, while Lenz Bigbee shot a 46 and Preston Cardin shot a 48. Alex Smith added a 55, and Brodey Luurs rounded out the Adna scorecard with a 65.

“I really think we have five golfers that’ll be very competitive by districts,” Adna boys coach Luke Salme said.

Josh Peralta led the Mountaineers with a 43, Elliot Drake shot a 51, and Riley Lynch finished inside Rainier’s top three with a 57.

Winlock also had a few golfers in attendance on both the boys and girls side. Nicholas Ming led the Winlock boys with a 58, Trent Poirrier shot a 61, and Cameron Horne recorded a 68. Napavine’s Riley Griffith also got a round in, finishing with a 44.

Rainier, Napavine, and Winlock also had some girls get a round in. Rainier’s Lilly Peralta finished with the top girls round, shooting a 43.
