The Adna Pirates were the best baseball team in the C2BL all season long, and on Monday, their catcher and top hitter was named the league’s MVP.
Danner Hoinowski earned C2BL MVP honors from the league’s coaches after finishing the regular season slashing .520/.586/.720 and posting a .993 fielding percentage behind the dish.
Three other Pirates were named to the first team, tying with Napavine and Toledo for the most, and Jake Overbay was named the league’s Coach of the Year.
