Two teenagers were arrested this week in connection with stabbing a man and his son outside a Kelso McDonald’s Saturday night.

Kamrin Kerr, 19, of Longview, along with an unnamed 16-year-old Longview resident, are facing first-degree assault charges for stabbing a 43-year-old man and his 15-year-old son outside a McDonald’s, according to a Thursday press release from the Kelso Police Department.

A McDonald’s manager previously told The Daily News the incident occurred in the back parking lot of the restaurant located at 300 South Kelso Dr.

At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday the adult victim confronted Kerr after allegedly seeing him in a domestic violence event with an unnamed woman, the press release states.

Kerr, the 16-year-old — armed with a knife — and other suspects surrounded the victims and started a fight. During the fight, both the man and his son sustained stab wounds that the press release described as life-threatening but did not provide their current medical status.

Kerr was arrested Wednesday and the 16-year-old on Thursday. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
