Behind Maddy Alexander and Anabel Moeckel registering over 20 points each in stableford scoring, the Bearcats recorded a 102-91 victory over the Thunderbirds on Wednesday afternoon at Newaukum Valley.
It is an 11-point improvement for W.F. West after losing to Tumwater 99-91 earlier in the season. Alexander finished with 25 points while Moeckel had one of her better days of the year, notching 23 points.
Lexie DeLisle and Joelie Corey finished with 19 and 18 points, respectively, while Ava Hamilton and Paige Duncan added 17 and 16 points. The Bearcats return to the course on Monday versus league-leading Black Hills.
