Before the volleyball and soccer teams clashed Thursday, the W.F. West and Centralia boys golf teams met up for a rivalry clash at Riverside Golf Course, which the Bearcats took 239-267.

“Really a pretty good day for golf,” Centralia coach Hal Gronseth said. “I’m not sure either team would be thrilled with how they played, but Chehalis certainly had a bit more depth.”

Weston Potter earned medalist honors, leading the Bearcats with a final score of 42. Nate Dahlin and Braden Jones both shot 48s, Carter Hinkley finished at 50, and Jax Potter carded a 51.

For the Tigers, Tyler Fagerness led the way at 47, Brady Sprague shot a 49, Tucker Weaver finished at 51, Colby Christensen shot a 58, and Jake Johnson capped things off on 60.
