The W.F. West baseball team got back in the win column on Tuesday, defeating Aberdeen in the harbor 7-2.
The game was tied at two heading into the sixth inning, but a five-run frame put the Bearcats in control.
In that inning, Hudson McCallum broke the tie with an RBI triple, and he was brought home on a sacrifice fly from Deacon Meller. Ross Kelley added an RBI single, and Weston Potter capped the rally with a two-run single.
Meller finished 2 for 3 with a triple and the RBI, while Potter tallied three hits in four trips to the plate.
Hayden Rooney went the distance on the mound, allowing just five hits and two earned runs while walking one and striking out four.
W.F. West (11-2, 6-1 2A EvCo) will host the Bobcats in a rematch on Wednesday.
