Bearcats Break Single-Game 3-Point Record

W.F. West jumped on visiting Aberdeen early and the Bearcats cruised to a 66-37 victory over the Bobcats for their fourth-straight win in a 2A Evergreen Conference contest on Friday.

The Bearcats were powered by precision long-range shooting, drilling a single-game, school-record 13 of 24 3-pointers on the night at a 54% clip.

Seth Hoff continued his recent offensive tear for the Bearcats, knocking down three 3-pointers to net a team-high 13 points while Dirk Plakinger added 12 points and Soren Dalan chipped in nine points, including a flat-footed dunk.

The Bearcats started off hot, racing out to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter before going up 31-17 at the break. They then outscored the Bobcats 34-20 in the second half to secure the win.

W.F. West (9-6, 6-2 EvCo) travels to Rochester on Monday.
