W.F. West got its sixth win of the season, as Soren Dalan and Dirk Plakinger combined for 51 points at home in a tightly-contested, 68-64 victory to beat the North Thurston Rams in a non-league matchup.
Senior Dirk Plakinger had a team-high 27 points and had two emphatic dunks. Junior Soren Dalan had 24 points and a team-high 23 rebounds, giving him a double-double.
The Bearcats (6-5) host the Tumwater T-Birds on Tuesday in a 2A Evergreen Conference game.
