With plenty of offense to go around, the W.F. West boys basketball team survived a late rally by White River to upend the Hornets on the road in non-league action Saturday afternoon, 83-73.

The Bearcats had four players score in double figures, led by some strong efforts from Tyler Klatush and Soren Dalan.

Klatush dropped 27 points, despite dealing with some foul trouble in the second half, and Dalan scored 23 points to go along with another 21 rebounds.

Parker Eiswald (16 points) and Gage Brumfield (11 points) joined the pair in double figures for the Bearcats, who survived a fourth quarter avalanche from Hornet sharpshooter Greg Schmitz, who scored a game-high 34 points.

The Bearcats will return to 2A EvCo play on Tuesday against Shelton in Chehalis.
