Running into a Black Hills offense that overwhelmed it, the W.F. West volleyball team was swept by the Wolves at home Wednesday, 25-11, 25-18, 25-12.
W.F. West ran into a very hungry Black Hills team tonight,” Bearcats coach Robert Lucas said. “While Black Hills ran the fastest offense we’ve seen, we were still about to get 12 kills, with six coming from Morgan Rogerson.”
The Bearcats battled back a bit, with Julia Dalan earning three blocks as well.
“Black Hills just covered the floor exceptionally well,” Lucas said.
The Bearcats take on Montesano next Tuesday in a non-league matchup.
