The W.F. West girls basketball team came away with another impressive win on Friday, defeating Eatonville 68-28 to remain unbeaten.

The Bearcats had built a double-digit lead in the first half, and they pulled away with a 32-point third.

Dilyn Boeck hit three threes in the frame, Kaitlyn Chloupek added six points, and Rhylee Beebe hit a three of her own to put W.F. West up 40 entering the fourth.

“We went back to being ourselves and playing our game,” W.F. West coach Kyle Karnofski said. “I was really proud of them for the shift in focus coming out of halftime.”

Boeck went on to finish with a team-high 21 points, while Julia Dalan added 17.

Chloupek, Beebe, and Grace Simpson combined for 30 points. Chloupek shot 6 for 7 from the floor and finished with 14 points, while Beebe and Simpson logged eight points each.

“They gave us all a really good lift,” Karnofski said. “I thought they did a good job.”

Defensively, W.F. West didn’t allow more than eight points in a single quarter.

“We did a pretty good job mixing up some defenses,” Karnofski said. “And we did a pretty good job of being active.”

W.F. West will go for win No. 7 at Washougal on Monday.
