Beavers Blast Rockets in 50-26 Drubbing

Tenino held Castle Rock to single-digit scoring in three quarters and the Beavers flew past Castle Rock for a 50-26 non-league road win on Thursday.

The Beavers, who are starting a stretch of four games in seven days, rested their starters for long periods of the game and freely substituted throughout the night.

“In the second quarter, the girls started getting looks and the varsity entered back in in the third quarter,” Tenino coach Scott Ashmore said.

Ashley Schow led all scorers with 18 points, while Alivia Hunter added nine points and Grace Vestal and Megan Letts each finished with six.

Tenino improves to 5-1 overall and travels to Class 2B Raymond for a 1:45 p.m. non-league game on Saturday.
