Tenino fell short today in what was a pretty important game for them, falling 46-37 to the Montesano Bulldogs on the road. Tenino had over 25 turnovers and Montesano led by 10 for most of the game.
“We came out with no energy, we weren’t crashing the boards like we usually do, and we had foul trouble,” Tenino coach Joe Chirhart said. “Montesano came out ready to play and the crowd was ready to go.”
Austin Gonia led the Beavers with 15 points while Takari Hickle added 10 and Will Feltus scored nine.
That was Tenino’s last league game and the Beavers are now waiting for the district playoff seeding.
