Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run in Grays Harbor County

A 55-year-old Aberdeen man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run on Monday in Grays Harbor County, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Aberdeen man, who had not been publicly identified as of Tuesday morning, was riding a bicycle north on state Route 115 near mile marker 2 at about 1:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a northbound vehicle. The bicyclist came to rest in blackberry bushes off the northbound shoulder. He died at the scene. 



The vehicle did not stop, according to the state patrol. 

The crash remains under investigation.
