The Black Hills boy’s basketball team earned its first win of the season in Eatonville on Friday, as the Wolves topped the Cruisers 60-56.

The Wolves (1-1) came out of the gate slow, and they trailed by ten after a frame, but they scored 21 in the second to enter the locker room down one.

After a slower third, the offense found a rhythm again, scoring 20 points in the fourth to erase a deficit and come away with the win.

Quinton Morrill and James Morgan led the team with 12 points each, while Jack Ellison added 11. Jaxsen Beck tallied nine and Talon Morill scored eight.

The Wolves will look to get above .500 on Tuesday, when they start league play at Aberdeen.
