Bill Margart

Posted

Bill Margart, a man of true integrity, who loved God with all his heart. He was also a proud United States Navy veteran who served as a gunners mate during the Vietnam conflict, and was his oldest son’s inspiration to serve proudly as well. He was a true patriot and a firm believer in democracy and the constitution. He was 77 years of age when he passed away April 18, 2021.
Bill's wife, Nancy, considered him to be God’s choice for her and has always been grateful to have found such a kind, loving, giving, fun loving person. They have had 52 wonderful years together.
He is survived by his brother, Lester (Janet) Margart of Loma Linda, Calif. Together, Bill and Nancy have four children, Jay, Charlyn (Chad), Jonathan (Summer), and Tim; and three grandchildren, and one on the way, Ian, Rhiannon, Laylah, and Lilliana (to come soon).
There is a great void in our hearts that cannot be filled. He was dear to all and will be greatly missed. Bill always sought to bring light to even the dimmest of situations. All he wanted was for the people around him to be as happy as he was.
Graveside service will be held May 1, 2021, at 10 a.m., at the Claquato Cemetery at 142 Stearns Rd., Chehalis, Wash, with a memorial service to follow at Mountain View Baptist Church in Centralia, Wash.
