The Black Hills girls basketball team earned its first win in nearly a month on Saturday, overcoming a fourth-quarter deficit to beat Eatonville 52-48.

The first three quarters were back-and-forth, but Eatonville was able to do enough to build a six-point lead going into the fourth.

Black Hills saved its best for last, winning the final frame 19-9 to break its five-game losing streak.

Natalie Buchanan logged a double-double by scoring 17 points and hauling in 11 rebounds, while Kiley McMahon scored 13 points, dished out five assists, and nabbed four steals. Tyler Venable scored 12 points and dished out six assists, and Ellie Johnson grabbed 15 rebounds.

The Wolves (6-5, 0-2 2A EvCo) return to EvCo play on Tuesday, when they host Tumwater.
