The Black Hill softball team met Montesano at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey on Monday, and the Wolves were defeated 14-3 in five innings.
Montesano scored in every inning, including 10 runs across the second and third, while Black Hills managed just one in the second and two in the fifth.
The first run scored on an error, while the final two came across on a solo home run from Kailey Miller and an RBI single from Kiley McMahon. Both Miller and Maddie Knight finished with two hits apiece.
