Coming out on fire and never looking back, with five double figure scorers, the Centralia Community College women’s basketball team crushed Tacoma, 85-56, Wednesday night.

Allison DeBerry (14 points), Rochester alum Paige Winter (14 points), Shawnacee Davis (13 points), Mallory Williams (12 points), and Centralia alum Carissa Kaut (12 points) were all the double figure scorers.

“Good night to see everyone get involved,” Blazers coach Caleb Sells said. “You don’t know who it’s going to be for us, we’re deep. They’re a fun group and they’re starting to click.”

Centralia also held a strong rebound advantage with 52 total team boards, to go along with 21 assists and 18 turnovers.

The Trailblazers will take on Highline in their next contest on Saturday.
