The Centralia College men’s basketball team saw its season come to an end in blowout fashion Wednesday, losing to Pierce 92-54.
Trevion Frazier had 15 points off the bench to lead the Blazers. Claudell Quinland Jr. added eighth, and Winlock alum Bryce Cline had seven.
CC shot an ugly 29% from the field, 19% from beyond the arc, and 47% from the free-throw line, while turning the ball over 17 times. Pierce had the Blazers doubled up at halftime, 38-19, before dropping 54 points in the second half.
Pierce’s Michael Ajayi lit Centralia up, going for 38 points and 18 rebounds.
Centralia finishes the season 6-22, with a 4-10 conference record.
