Borst Park Lights fundraiser for Centralia Police K9 Association is Monday

Posted

With Christmas quickly approaching, the Borst Park Lights — a Christmas-themed drive-thru light display at Fort Borst Park in Centralia — will still be shining brightly for any interested visitors up until Wednesday, Dec. 25, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The cost is $7 per car and $10 for small buses, cash only. No large buses are permitted for entry.

Admission costs help raise money for local nonprofit organizations. On Monday, Dec. 23, proceeds from the Borst Park Lights will benefit the Centralia Police K9 Association, according to a Facebook event created by the Centralia Police Department.

“This is a fundraiser for the Centralia Police K9 Association, which funds the Centralia Police K9 program and is currently saving up for a new police K9,” the Centralia Police Department stated.

Fort Borst Park is located at 2020 Borst Ave. in Centralia.
