The Boys & Girls Club of Lewis County will host the May Business After Hours event for the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.
The monthly event will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at 2071 Jackson Highway in Chehalis, inside the Pacific Athletic Center behind the Boys and Girls Club.
The event will include networking, tours and a presentation by Todd Chaput, project manager for the United Way Learning Center (ULC) and from Annie Oien, executive director of the United Way of Lewis County and president of the ULC board.
Business After Hours begins with networking, a charcuterie spread by Samuel Cots and club house tours by Club Director Davyn Reed.
Guest presenters Chaput and Oien will speak briefly at about 6 p.m.
“The event will also feature an impact story from one of our club kids and staff,” said Sarah Althauser, Lewis County Boys & Girls Club executive director. “We will have a Giving Tree where attendees can support our club through practical items needed for club.”
Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce puts together the monthly Business After Hours events at a different host location each month. It is an opportunity for networking, learning more about the member businesses and organizations of the chamber and celebrating the good things happening within the community, the chamber stated in a news release.
