At the 2A State Girls Swimming Championships at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Centralia swimmers Chihiro and Suki Bringman each made several finals at various events this past Saturday.
Chihiro Bringman finished fourth in the state in the 200-meter freestyle (in 2:03.05) and fifth in the 500-meter freestyle in 5:31.39. Her sister, Suki, finished 16th in the 50-meter freestyle in 27.55 and 12th in the 500-meter free in 5:46.94.
The pair helped the Tigers finish 21st overall as a team.
The overall team state champion was Sammamish High School.
