Burn Bans Lifted in Lewis County

Posted

Officials have lifted Lewis County burn bans that were implemented over a week ago. In a press release Tuesday morning, county officials announced that restrictions in unincorporated land would be lifted due to weather evaluations by the fire marshal. And restrictions on land controlled by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are no longer in effect.

According to DNR, fire danger in Lewis County — and all of Western Washington — is at low-risk of wildfires.
