There will be an open house “business soiree” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at 405 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia.

The building, which was the longtime home of Boccata, includes a turn-key restaurant with ample dining spaces and a three-bedroom apartment.

Boccata owner Darin Harris will offer “culinary delights,” according to the event announcement. Wine and beer will be provided by The Juice Box. There will be live music and a guest speaker.

“I am just as sad as everyone else that Boccata’s is closing. But now is the time to dream with me. Think of Thai food, Italian or Korean and fusion. Let’s get the right business to come to town,” Levi Althauser said.

According to the event announcement, Althauser is looking for a business owner to purchase the location.

The event is co-hosted by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.
