The Winlock boys basketball team held a slim lead going into the fourth quarter against Columbia Adventist on Monday, but the Cardinals couldn’t hold on and eventually lost 68-61.
Landen Cline led the Cardinals with 32 points, while Mason Ruiz scored eight and Carter Svenson added seven.
Jaxyn Pelagio and Arean Thapa both scored six.
Winlock (1-3, 0-2 C2BL) will look to snap a two-game skid at home against Toledo on Tuesday.
